How to Concatinate fields for display

Do I need a 4th (calculated) Attribute?

I have 3 attributes: City, State and Zip. I need them in separate fields, but when querying the BO, I would like them all displayed in one column with just a space between each one. It seems like I need to create a new calculated field, CSZ that is updated anytime the city, state or zip are updated.

is there a better way?

Only if you use a Custom Query Bruce as far as I know.

If you do that you can lay them out any way you want with html (table or div) and style it as you with with css.

This is the best approach. I use that approach to create "super search" fields so a user can type in parts of a name, address, email address, or phone number and find appropriate CRM records.

Thanks for the reply Tom, but not looking for search features. Looking to display it in a query cell. (Now, in a form, I can add a HTML cell and easily display the 3 attributes, but I don't know of a way to do that in one column in a query.

Oh well, there is always V7 to look forward to.....
