BLOMASKY If Aware is set up on a server, and I am on an underpowered computer, can I stoke up the configurator and connect it to the remote tomcat and awareIM server? Or, do I need to always start the control panel locally? Thanks Bruce
BLOMASKY Mark, I don't want to RDP, since there would be a lot of chatter back and forth just to update the screen. I guess the answer is no.
kklosson Take a look at the Installation Guide - it addresses this issue. "The Aware IM Configuration Tool can be deployed on a separate machine with access to the Aware IM server via internal LAN. This makes it possible to use the Configuration Tool by different users simultaneously."
BLOMASKY Thanks for the response. I did see they mentioned the configurator for windows and for Linux, but I can't find the configurator for OS X. Thanks Bruce

BLOMASKY Thanks for your response. I "DID" see that but while there configurator is a standalone program for windows and Linux, it does not seem be be there for OS X. However, I can always just launch it from the Control Panel, so all is good. Bruce
