I've got a rule on my received email to sort the mails.
It goes: FIND Contact WHERE IncomingEmail.FromAddress CONTAINS Contact.EmailAddress
CREATE ReceivedEmail WITH ReceivedEmail.Contact=ThisContact
(then some fields like ReceivedEmail.Subject=IncomingEmail.Subject)
INSERT ReceivedEmail IN ThisContact.Emails (Emails being a group containing received email and external emails)
I was having an issue where you would open a contact, go to their mails and nothing would be there. But it IS in CommunicationHistory which is a carbon copy of the mail. I didn't understand why it was in one and not in the other until I logged into my test version and without thinking used my gmail address as the address for a second contact by mistake. Now I can see it pulls into the one contacts emails but not the other. Is it running the rule until it finds a match and then stopping? If so, how do I fix that? It doesn't seem to be going in alphabetical order but rather in order of creation (the contact created first gets the emails)
