DISPLAY DOCUMENT Issue

I have an excel template, ProgramBordereau, that I run to generate an excel spreadsheet report. For each given BO called Program, I want to be able to display this document.

I made a process that I thought would work:
PICK FROM 'All Programs'
DISPLAY DOCUMENT ProgramBordereau

This works the first time I run the process. However if I run it a second time and choose a different Program, it still creates a document with the originally selected Program. I thought this would be straightforward, select the BO, display the document for that given BO. Any suggestions on what I can do to correct this?

If you are using IE, it is probably pulling the document from the cache. Chrome is better for this but in IE you can basically just turn off the cache. The cache is really an old concept to make pages load faster over dial-up. You can turn it off and never look back.

Thanks, I'll give that a go and see if it works. If that is the case though, my users aren't going to be savvy enough to turn this off. Is there a way I can block the cache from AwareIM? Can I place a 'no-cache' directive somehow?

Well your suggestion was the cure. I'll have to do some digging later on on handling this server side, but for now I can go on. Thank you so much for the quick response.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of variable in the delivery of a web app. My users ask for support and then think I am a God because I solved their problem.

One option is to have your process store the resulting doc in a LoggedInRegularUser attribute of the Document type, then display a form on the screen to allow the person to click it to display, download, etc.

And doing it this way will get around the issue of the document being cached on download?

I'll try this too and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
