iOS API Calls and Mobile

ninap

hi guys,

does anyone have or built any native Objective C applications and used then recently after the Mobile features became available?

my question is - If I built a small IOS or Android app just to call and get some data - Will we need to purchase the mobile feature? Or can I use as a standard web service call

thanks, nina 🙂

No you don't, if you're building an stand alone app.

We have built a small native app. Then using aware json web services to send data back and forth. Works ok, but it's a pretty simple app. I can see if the app was more advanced we may need a plugin built to accommodate the more advanced self-service requirements.

I'm hopeful that with v7 aware offline mode we might be able to replace this with a full aware solution.
