Login alert - wrong username or password

Hi,

Successfully implemented Henrik's sweetalert tip from this https://forum.awareim.com/d/7550>, this works fine after the user is logged in.

What I try to achieve is that, when a user is on login screen and enters a wrong username/password a popup alert notification to be displayed.

Has anyone achieved this ?

i am just guessing here:
use the same changes you did on the startup page on logon page

Tried taht, but no luck...
The login form has to verify the database against existing users&passwords...After this check an alert message should be displayed...

I use custom logon page, but I've tried with default logon.html,too (chrome, firefox)..same result.

Any advice would be much appreciated,

the solution i am using right now:
create a page that have the error message displayed call it logonError then add this to the logon form:

<input id="errorPage" type="hidden" name="errorPage" value ="logonError.jsp">

this make me set the error message in a nice dive tag

thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it, but logonError.jsp doesn't exist.

After checking more files figured it out that default logon.html has this verification. I have customized with bootstrap the logon page and erased that javascript part which verifies the user&password.
Now it's ok. Even managed to integrate the sweetalert part 🙂.
