Hyperlink in Form

Have a BO with 2 attributes, one a text and the other a reference (one to many).
On the default form there is an edit button that opens the referenced instances.

Is there a way to have the text attribute hyperlink to the referenced attributes, ie double click an instance of the text attribute and it opens the listing of references attributes.

Yes, just add an Edit operation and check the "Default" box.

Then uncheck the "Display text" and "Display icon" boxes.

Thanks for this but havn't figured it yet. There is an edit operation for the referenced attribute but not for the text one.

I haven't been able to make the Text (Corp name) a linkable field (with underline), however the closest you can get, as Tom mentioned, Uncheck the Edit Operation (Text Display & Icon Display) and make the Operation as Default Check ON.

This way, if the used clicks anywhere on that row it will work.

Here I tried it with Custom Display, but you still don't get the Underline for text that indicates the Linkable field.

So the Custom Display works pretty much link the grid.

Still not working for me. I have added an edit oprtation, checked the default box and unchecked both 'display text' and 'display icon'. But have been able to do this only on the referenced attribute and it seems to have no bearing on the 'one' side. The Corp attribute does not have any settings for 'display text' etc.

After adding new Company instances, you will find they are clickable.

May i ask if you are looking for the following;

Inside a Query result you are not looking to EDIT that in context object - Correct?

You are wanting to show a HYPERLINK (aka URL in some fashion) in a Query result column?

OK found my error - I was unchecking the 'display text' etc in the form section of the BO. No go.
Then set it in the query and viola!! Works just fine, and it's ok not underlined.

In my sample BSV from this post, I tried this but it was not successful in displaying the reference instances:

What am I missing? Does it need a process name or does it automatically use Edit since it Default is checked?

You need to:
1-create a process with an Edit rule using your BO as input.
2-start the process with something like this:

 <button type="button" class="btn btn-link"onclick="AwareApp.startProcess2('ProcessName','{BO}',{ID},'main')">

uncheck default edit operation since you want the button to start the process.

note: i am using bootstrap to display

I created a custom query display, then went to - Operations with Items- Created edit operation -> made it default-> clicked it and removed Display Text and Display Icon.

Still I am getting the default icon and the complete row is not editable. You need to click on the icon to edit the row.

Any idea what I could be missing?
