Actually, there might be a simple solution to it on the Aware Side. It seems like when the Java code has got it's data from DB and it's ready to create an HTML dropdown box it does "Append" the undefined text AFTER the DB data is appended to DropDown box rather than before. And that's why it shows at the bottom.
In ASP.Net we had the choice of appending our own choice, i.e. "undefined text" BEFORE db data or AFTER db data. To be at top or bottom when user gets a dropdown.
Since Support is working on this part in V7 using Kendo UI, it's a good time to offer us a choice of "Top" or "Bottom" for undefined text.
