if i can pass a hidden filed value from the login page. it will be enough.
Here is how to pass a hidden field, with the user agent information, from the login page:
Add the following to your login HTML:
<input id="firstCommandâ type="hidden" name="firstCommand" value="startProcessWithInit,ShowUserAgent,main,BO,UserAgent=userAgentInfoâ>
With the above added to your login HTML, when a user logs in: BO will be created with attribute UserAgent set to userAgentInfo and process ShowUserAgent will execute.
Explanation of the above:
The name of the field must be âfirstCommandâ.
The value must begin with âstartProcessWithInit,
Change ShowUserAgent to a process name in your BSV
main is the rendering option.
Change BO to the name of a BO in your BSV, which also must be input to your process above.
Change UserAgent to an attribute in your BO.
Change userAgentInfo to the actual user agent information.
For more information, see the firstCommand URL parameter in the Login section and startProcess in appendix D of the User Guide.
