Build a ref URL or Link to an Object and Display In Query

Hi,

We wanted to know if this was possible.

We have an object called Tasks. This object is simply a holder for various system messages to let the user know they are late to do something. Like fill in Timecard or check on Trouble Tickets. I accumulates open Tasks until they have been resolved by the user.

** Tasks has no relation to Timecard or Tickets

We wanted to somehow build a link which is displayed in a Tasks query back to an Object so that the user can easily click a link taking them to that item other object.

So in the Tasks query I would see a link or some means to click that Timecard object or the Tickets object.

you clearly want the task to track Timecards or Tickets, so it seems like you will have to have a peer relationship between them. With that peer relationship, this is simple to do:

HI,

Yes we just figured instead of the 10 likely relations to track ALL system activities in one place we could build a REF link "url" and show that in a Query "Data Grid"

Went with what works for now - 10 ref's
