Reference Object Display Issues

I am sure that I am missing something on my configuration here. I am trying to make my format on my business space like my preview here:

I made the changes under several places. I have changed everywhere I can find the presentation options to the same settings as in my preview and every time I generate a preview of the setting I've changed It looks perfect. However when I put the version I am working on into test mode I only get this:
I'm sure that I have missed something but I am not sure what. What do I need to do to edit the formatting of this?

For reference I have made the presentation changes in the following locations:
Business objects-->Firearms-->Forms:Main-->Form Sections:Main-->Layout:Attribute: Accessories-->Accessories😛resenation:Edit

Business objects-->Firearms-->Attributes:Accessories-->Presentation

No changes I make in either location have any effect on the display output in the testing on the browser.

I'm not understanding your question.
Can you give a short specific problem description?

Sure, The order of the attributes of the referenced element called accessories, does not change when I change the settings using the presentation button on the reference element.
Example: the top picture in my original post has a attributes of make, model, caliber, Serial Number, and a reference element referring to an object called accessories. When I change the presentation of the reference element to display it's attributes in the order that can be seen in the image in the top image, it doesn't not make the change on the live test page in the browser.

Hopefully that is more clear.

Can you upload your BSV and a simple "How to" so we can take a look to isolate the problem?

Do you have ONE form, both for edit and create or TWO?
If Two, make sure you're editing the correct one. Put some HTML text at the top to make sure at runtime you're seeing the correct form.

I just have one form. I reordered the other attributes in the form and confirmed that it was the correct form.
To replicate what I am talking about:

1.Open the Firearms business object
2.Edit the Main form
3.Edit the Main form Section
4.Select the Attribute:Accessories and click Edit
5.Click Edit under the presentation column of Attribute: Accessories
6.Make any changes to the presentation that you like and then click ok.
7.Return to the Form Section window and for testing you can preview that the changes worked by pressing preview.
8.Save out of all the windows and run the version in test mode and try and create and then view the objects and they will not have the format changes you made in the presentation. At least in my experience unless I am doing something wrong.

I am trying to upload my bsv but it says it is not allowed. Is there something special I need to do to get it to you?

try zip it or change extension to txt. I forgot which one worked. Try both.

I may have spoken too soon. Every time I uncheck that box It is checked the next time I go back into the form..

I checked and seems like you can't uncheck that box. I deleted the accessories reference and created a new one, and I see the checkbox is checked automatically.

Just delete the accessories reference in Firearm, save, run test, lock the BSV and then add accessories again. Don't delete it and add it at one shot before committing to DB.
See if that solve your problem. I've never seen it before. Could be a glitch.

Don't forget to clear your browser's cache after the above change.

This is very weird. I have removed the accessories reference and have saved tested and then finally added it back in and the allow saving columns box is unchecked. As soon as I make any changes to the presentation options it automatically checks and will not remove.

Yes, I saw that too. But after removing and and re-creating and clearing the cache, do you still encounter the problem (Preview being different than runtime)?

Yeah I just made sure that I did all of that and it still is showing up different on mine. I'm scrapping that Business space entirely and starting a new one from scratch to see if the problem persists.

I created an empty BSV and imported yours and had no problem. Start fresh. Maybe something got corrupted.
It's a good learning process anyway. 🙂

Man I feel like I'm going in circles with this. I created a new business space with a blank bsv and didn't even import it. I simple built it from scratch and still have a difference between the preview and and the runtime.. It has got to be something I am doing but I am scratching my head trying to figure it out.
