Scheduling a Process More Than Once Per Day

I have a process that I want to run as often as once per hour. For background, I have a user process that is rather intensive and only want one process to run at a time. So I have queued the requests and I want to processes the queue maybe every 15 minutes or so. But the highest frequency for the scheduler is once per day. Any way to run process every hour?

if we could have memory variable to keep track of the last run timestamp. So basically I ended up adding some attributes to system settings to keep track of the last time the process was run and subtract from Current Time and if it is equal or greater my desired range (say 60 minutes), then it would call the process to run.
You basically have to take of it yourself. me a few others have asked Support to add this to Aware, but no replies.

I Use "Run Background Process" every xxx seconds on the Visual Perspective under Themes and other settings.

This works well as long as someone is logged in under that perspective. Also a rule in the process that references a systems settings flag on last time process was run could make it more efficient
