I am trying to do a 4 column report through an email notification. Whether I use standard or html selection it butts up against each other (see below). I tried an HTML table and it came out aligned but there was a huge gap between each line. I spent two hours trying to fix that, and then happen to look at the email on the phone and it was perfect. But unreliable for the browser. I thought maybe standard would work. Same issue.
I need 4 columns. I had an example but when I just previewed it in the forum, it was all combined. So this is what I need, but about 10 lines.
Description - Amount and then Description - Amount
This is what I am getting, Only showing two columns but need 4 aligned.
Adjusted Sales: 117,373.18
Total Freebies: 814.69

I am not sure if the attribute setup matters #,###,###.00. And how to tell and attribute to right align?
Basically what I need to do is send a report each month to every customer, and I am trying to do so through and email notification. I was thinking I could just send a report, but my understanding so far is I could only send a notitication. So I am using 'Message' plain text.
But I see there is an option that says 'HTML Message type document, and the dropdown shows the report I would like to send. But the received email is gobblygook.
So my preference would be able to send the report, second option is to do what I was doing, notification, but I need the alignment fixed. Not sure which way to go.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Mark
PS: In doing the table in HTML it uses double quotes sometimes. This causes an error when trying to save the email notification. Just curious, should a single quote be used, which seemed to work. Point is, I don't think I can use html table anyway for this.
