Hello,
I have a very tricky process that I am creating where I need to read a few tables more than once.
Currently most of the rules are contained in the same process so it looks like I will need to use This, That and Other when referencing attributes from the BO's I will be reading.
My Question is, If I were to split things up into separate processes and pass the BO's I do the FINDS on would that work better and be easier to manage?
Please keep in mind that I am rewriting this process in AIM based off a program that was created in another application originally, so there may be an easier way to do it in AIM?
The Bo's I am reading are external MS_SQL Tables. Without getting in to a ton of detail the finds that I need to do are in this order:
FIND Sales_History Where(...)
DO somethings based on result
FIND po_Hdr Where(...)
Do Something base on result
FIND apinv_line Where(...)
FIND apin_hdr Where(...)
Do something based on result
Create a temp table with some of the values found so far
FIND apinv_hdr Where(...)
FIND apinv_line Where(...)
Update some fields in temp table with results
Call process to FIND Part No. in a special Pricing Agreement Table. This is done to find lowest possible price for part no. based on a start and end date of the pricing agreement
Write Part No and details to Special pricing Sales Ledger BO.
End Process
Any help and suggestions are most appreciated....
Regards,
Roger
