outgoing Email Username Vs Email account?

does anyone know if there exists other fields which we can use in an Outgoing Email.

specifically; a text field which would have the Name of the user - i.e. Nina instead of nina@someemaildoamin.com

I have enjoyed myself with this problem in the past and I have found a solution after many days of testing.

Some observations which I have observed in the mean time of using this:

You have to use a email server which permits of using in "FromAddress" field other email address from which is setup in SystemSetting (in AwareIM)
Another big issue is SPAM. It would be nice for us to have a SMTP configuration per user, not only 1 per bsv. Here is a post about this problem and requesting this at Suuport to reconsider introducing this feature: https://forum.awareim.com/d/7950/4&hilit=dmarc#p33655

thank you for finding this information - i will test around and create the string which holds also the Email Sender "Logical Name" as well as the Email Address.

will post back the results for others to reuse

do this and it works (tested sending to Exchange Servers and standard POP/IMAP apple)

Step 1: if you have a RegularUser object marked as Intelligent and it holds the attribute for email called EmailAdress - edit this and Remove the "masking as email" on the bottom

Step 2: Open your settings and edit the FromEmailAddress object to show as an example - "David Smith" dsmith@hotmail.com

everything including the quotes name quotes - the syntax is "Friendly Name" <email address here>
