Web service between two AwareIM BSVs

Does anyone have two AwareIM BSVs "talking" to each other using Web Services?

I just got a crude version working & will post the two BSVs with step-by-step instructions later tonight after I fix a few things.

My sample BSVs will be pulling data from one BSV to another.

If anyone has insights about pushing data from one BSV to another. For example, when a Customer is created in BSV #1, I would like that Customer data sent immediately & automatically to BSV #2.

It was my understanding that "pushing" is not possible out of the box without a plugin.

Would love to be wrong.

I'd be interested in this.

at the moment we have a requirement to transfer data across from an 'unsecured site' to a 'secured site'.

The way I am trying to do it at the moment is to read in the BO from the 'unsecured' to the 'secured'. It's a BIG PITA as all the relationships are broken and you have to re-establish it manually.

When a change is made in BS1, have a webservice (or some other connector or solution) connect to BS2 and start a process in BS2 that then start pulling data from BS1?

I have the sample BSVs working with a simple request to pull data, but I'm trying to figure out how to get it working by using a parameter to pull the data. Will post after I figure that part out.

Sounds like this should work! I will see about adding this functionality to my sample BSVs.

System A can call a service of a system B. In this call system A can specify parameters of the service call. These parameters will be handled by system B, which may choose to save these parameters in the database. After the service has been promised system B sends a reply to system A. This reply can also specify some values. The reply can be handled by system A and it may choose to save the reply in the database.

So this is perfectly symmetric and I am not sure I understand the discussion about "pushing" and "pulling"

Still have not squeezed out the time to get demo & notes posted. Hopefully soon. The demo BSVs would be of little use without notes & tips along as you are building your services.
