Webservice authentication

Hi,

I want to use an external webservice to get some data. That external webservice need authentication.
I know how to use Aware to talk to a webservice, but I do not know how to authenticate?

The examples provided by Aware do skip this also, so I'm stuck now.

How to do this???

I do not know yet. They have to build it for us. They asked me how Aware works so they can design the webservice so that it works with Aware.
But because I do not see any authentication functionality at all, I started this topic.

Find it out. I am not sure if authentication is part of the SOAP spec - if it is, Aware IM doesn't support it, so a plugin would be required. However, If authentication is just part of their specific web service protocol (so you need to call one web service to authenticate, they return a token and then you use the token in subsequent service calls), then it should be supported out-of-the-box
