Chrome Edit Control Vertical Alignment Bug Fixed?

customaware

It seems to me in that in the newly released Chrome build 43.0.2357.130 the problem with vertical alignment
of text in an Edit control seems to be fixed.

Can others please verify?

Mark,
This is not fixed, I still get the problem.

I didn't quite understand what Mark was asking, because he had twists in his wording... 😃 But since Henrik put it this way, yes, I still see the problem. However, different themes show it more explicit than others.

Yes, Henrik. You are correct.

Tripped over my optimism again. 😉

For Ben...

Are the Eagles the most important musical contributors of our time or, are they merely a bunch of pseudo intellectual instigators of cheap, second rate,
media contrived, over lyrical, cowboy romanticism?

😉

I think it's the latter... 😉

Does anyone have a solution or work around for this?

Support tickets are mounting up with customers having a whinge.

Henrik confirmed that the workaround in this link works....

Yes, the magic is gone...

Tried to other systems and seems that the bug is still present.. 🙁

Sure would be nice to get a fix on this soon, it has been outstanding for a very long time.
