I actually started building it and conceptually it is not that hard.
The biggest hurdle is search and replacement of text in config files.
Building a Resources or Assets BO whereby you import the images, css, html, js or whatever files you want and and include in there a
path pointing to where they need to be reinstated is the easy bit.
What it does mean is that immediately after an update you would need to run the app so that it would put everything back where it needed to be.
So, that is one part of the equation....
I think where Henrik is heading or suggesting is an Asset store whereby each and every Asset was able to be called upon within an Aware app.
So, you want to use an image? Either select an Asset or from a file. Or any CSS Asset (which can be edited and maintained within the app) is automaically deemed to be
included in the app when it runs..... same would go for .js code.
This is a leap but can you imagine it? Would be awesome. 😉
Taking it to the extreme...... full blown html / css drag and drop editor within Aware with full functionality and insertion of Attributes on any form or Custom Query. It would be
like having WebFlow built into the Form Editor.....
Add to that.... click a button and you can do exactly the same thing for designing your mobile and tablet forms...
Disruption technology!!!!
