save and close

Hi,

I have a css button that calls a process and update some attributes etc.

I need to have the process close the form as well. Is there a way to do this in AwareIM?

I would also like to know a function to directly close a form. Having "Close" and "Save & Close" in a function would be best.

A workaround to save and close a form is this: use AwareApp.startProcessFromForm to save the form and then as part of the process, navigate the user to some place else.

i would like to add the ability to display confirmation message as property for the function too. 😃

Hi,

got something from support BUT never tested it.

Apparently, there is a process called AwareApp.closeComponent. If this will accept parameters so we can change its functionality to be

Save and Close OR Cancel and Close

Will let you know once I play around with it.
