This is a feature request to allow choosing which attributes are shown when the mouse is over the record.

+1 - this would be helpful. There are times I've not used the mouse over features because the info is more than the user needs.

Yes,

I often use to show : Address, Phones, email addresses , contact infos, etc.

Is that not what option 3 is used for ? " Display value of hidden initially attributes only"

Great, thanks, never used it. I thought that the 3rd option would show all the columns unchecked. My mistake.

Whit this appeared another problem which I remember was mentioned in another post. The height of the popup window (when the mouse is over) is not enough (the last record from bottom is outside from this popup info window).

This is KIND OF what this feature does but has some problems so having a full fledged choose mouse over attributes is needed. Can´t remember what the problems were but know there are some.
