Include in Aware IM install

There has been many posts, discussions about a couple of custom/optional features many of us use which we have to manually redo/update after each install. This includes SSL, custom folder, Tomcat etc. etc. Now this topic has surfaced once again (see other recent posts in the general forum section). I again ask you to prioritize this.

The comment above regarding which areas is a problem (SSL, custom folder, Tomcat etc. etc), can you please comment about additional areas so we can try to list them all here and shed some light on these once again?

Well, one area that I kind of lost an account, was, the need for full 64-bit server side from Java to Tomcat to Aware server installation. I much rather develop and test on a 64-bit environment before put it on production.

Secondly, having up-to-date Tomcat version installed.

Another area is custom settings like control panel memory allocation, themes.props custom theme settings, basserver.props custom rows of stuff, additional plugin settings and also other settings here and there which are reseted when doing a upgrade.

One idea is to create some kind of setting GUI of ALL settings inside of the configuration tool where we could set different settings like control panel memory, additional rows for custom themes etc. etc. and then at upgrade, these settings would update the various settings throughout the Aware IM folder. Again, ALL settings should ideally be centralized then so we can set, works with, see etc. everything from the configuration tool.
