BenHayat wroteCris, None-persisted DB, is NOT even a temp table. It's a memory object/collection that only reside in Aware's domain runtime memory. No one else have access to it.
It's a great feature, I use it many places when I only need data not to be stored in DB.
You need to use regular BO objects to be seen by others.
Thanks Ben!
Is there a way for AwareIM to read temporary sql tables? Say I have this sql statement as part of my stored procedure
SELECT deptnum, location, count(*) as cnt
INTO #LocCount
FROM employees
GROUP BY deptnum, location
and then create a query using #LocCount?
The fact that the table starts with a '#', SQL treats it as a temporary table and the 'table disappears' after the whole process. SQL manages this table so it will be cleaner in a database point-of-view.
