Feature Request - 32/64-Bit installation option

I'd like to propose to AwareSoft to offer two sets of installations choices, a 32-bit and a 64-bit installation, each with latest versions of supporting tools and Aware Server.

This is a very sensible suggestion. It's a bit crazy that so many of us have to manually modify our Aware installation to make it perform as we require.

Most products these days, offer both choices. Even a $49 product I bought, came with both installs on DVD.
Many companies also, wouldn't consider Aware IM to run as a server, if it is not offered in 64-bit right out of the box. This was also a comment that an IT manager made when I showed him Aware about a month ago. We had more discussion about the possibility of me doing some development for them and he said, their current development tools are all 64-bit running on Linux (including the product server), so they expect to move on to another 64-bit product.

So, I'm hoping to see this soon, if not, the latest for the next Big release.

Not sure why we do 32 bit at all. Ultimately, AIM is a server tool. Who the heck runs a 32 bit server?

That was EXACTLY what that manager said, and I had nothing to say... 🙁

1+ for this and would LOVE to not have to manually do a lot of these things. MOST of use use 64 today I reckon so support, anytime you´re ready 🙂.
