v6.0 - Document attribute as attachment

I'm creating an BO OutboudEmail via process.
The input BO is Dockets.
Dockets BO has a Document attribute (Docekt_PDF) that stores a imported PDF file.

Issue:
When creating a new OutgoingEmail with OutgoingEmail.Attachment1=Dockets.Dockets_PDF, the Attachment remains UNDEFINED when BO is created.

1) IMPORT OutboundEmail.Attachment1 FROM Dockets.Docket_PDF
2) INSERT Dockets.Docket_PDF TO OutboundEmail.Attachment1

I'm not sure what the correct way of attaching documents to an email .

That's the correct approach.

Can you post the rules of your process that is creating the email?

Process is:
CREATE OutgoingEmail WITH OutgoingEmail.Subject=Dockets.DocketNumber, OutgoingEmail.Attachment1=Dockets.Docket_PDF

The OutgoingEmail is created without attachment.

I then have a proceed to send email notification.
I get the email.
