BenHayat @ Support or anyone; I searched both User Guide and Rule manual for a Trim (left or right) function that basically removes any spaces to the left or right of a Text field, i.e. TrimRight(FirstName). Does there such function exist in Aware? Thanks
tford Yes. In the Context Helper (F3 in the Configuration Tool), see TRIM in the list of functions. Looks like it is not documented in the User Guide or Help option in the Configuration Tool.

Ah, Thank you Tom; The TRIM function doesn't come up by itself, unless you press the button to show ALL functions, then you can see it. So to use it I can do the following? TRIM(User.FirstName)
tford I believe that's how you use it, Ben. I believe that's how I used it a while back to strip off unwanted spaces in some imported data. I don't currently use it in any of my BSVs. I'll shoot support an email to include it in the documentation.
customaware TRIM work fine for left and right. Would love a function to strip out ALL spaces in a text attribute.
