Free hand drawing / sketching

Hi,

I have a requirement to allow users of my application to draw free hand sketches from within an AwareIM application. Specifically, it is a law enforcement application, and the users need to draw a sketch of crime scenes, and attach these sketches to specific crime records. They need to be editable and viewable.

I noticed in the v6 release notes a reference to free painting. Is this functionality already available?

If not, has anyone ever integrated functionality to do this? If so, how was it done?

I haven't seen this in V6 yet but if it is wow!

I really could make use this kind of functionality and so if any one knows how to achieve it, I would be very excited to hear about it 😃

I did look into it a long time ago with some HTML5 cad offerings but integration into AwareIM was way out of my league.

What about using the signature tool for this purpose, increasing the signature pad area to a more suitable size may prove useful.
