When I read about Business Object Group, I tend to think whether it's the same as Inheritance in OO programming or not.
Here is my case and could you please tell me which way is the Aware way?
I have two types of objects that share some attributes and rules, but then one has more extensive attributes and rules.
First one is called Operator
Second one called Contractor.
a) In OO modeling, I would first create a base class, called Base operator, which holds all the common attributes and methods.
Then I would create two new classes inherit from the base. One would be Operator and the other would be Contractor.
I can then add more properties/attributes to contractor without affecting the operator or base, yet not duplicating the common attributes.
b) In Aware (based on my limited knowledge of Aware):
I would create two independently objects (Operator and Contractor), each having their own attributes, even though some might be duplicates.
Then I would put them into one Business Object Group (Operators) to sort of merge them together.
Can I do the OO modeling like (a) or do I do it like (b) or is there a (c) methodology I should follow?
Thank you in advance!
