Process not being called

Hi,

Been at this issue for the last 2 days now. The log is not showing me anything at all.

I have a simple process that gets executed after the user saves the object.

the process is 'DISPLAY QUESTION 'Do you want to send the email now?'

that's it! I removed the other rules to narrow it down.

any idea what's causing the issue? I have exported/re-imported the BSV, re-initialise all the data. reinstall awareim / updated to the latest 1908 build.

Do you have the second line in Process?

If Question.Reply='Yes' Then YourProcess

and nothing is happening.

Try to use as mentioned in UserGuide.. followed by the action of the answer to your question....

Try tu use your process like this:

DISPLAY QUESTION 'Do you want to send the email now?'
If Question.Reply='Yes' Then SendEmail

Thanks George,

I did that and the process was working before. Since upgrading to b1908, this stopped working.

Like I said earlier, I am not even seeing the actual question popup. Turned on the Logging > Viewer and I don't see anything wrong.

I am calling the process from here, and it just closes the form

If I call the process from the TOP BAR Menu, it works

Ok, I see now..
I use 1904 build...
I will install 1908 this evening and test it...Either I have a lot of these processes in my applications....

We had a look at your BSV. It has integrity errors - specifically it complains about not being able to find processes attached to the save event. You must have published the version without checking integrity.

Can't be right as the application is not published yet.

You cannot publish / test unless it passes the integrity check, right?

Yes, you can publish/test without the integrity check - there is an option for this. Your BSV definitely has integrity problems that 6.0 displays if you run the integrity check.

I never turn off those settings.

also, since i have no choice but to redo all the modifications to a base working version.

I will just have to charge this to experience.

What do you think about this error then? when i say 'Yes' to the Display Question...

Looks like a bug. Is this version 6.0? Can you send the BSV for testing?

Hi Support,

This is on 5.9 build 1899.

I am storing the filename on a non-persisted BO. I remove my reference to that BO and the process is flowing through properly HOWEVER, I've noticed that doing an EXPORT DOCUMENT and then IMPORT DOCUMENT is taking a long time.

This is on the same BSV that you have.
