Does AwareIM only uses the default Email Address

Hi,

I have a BO which has the Intelligent turned on. Default Channel is email. This automatically creates an EmailAddress attribute.

However on my BO, I have another email address that I recreate upon saving ie; firstname.lastname@emailme.com

I want AwareIM to use this email address instead of the default emailaddress. The reason being I am using the other email address for a different purpose.

Is this possible?

Yes it's possible, but depends on your SMTP server, if permits to send an email as someone else...

I use a lot this function and my users are sending their emails with their own email addresses in "Sender" field...

There is some posts on this forum where is explained how is used.......

Hi,

Sorry forgot to mention, the sender email address is always constant as specified on the SystemSettings BO.

What I want to change is the ToAddress.

On the Notification > Add Outgoing Email Notification. I set the ToEmailAddress to use but from what I can see, Aware is still using the EmailAddress it created by turning on the Intelligence.

my process is

CREATE EmailToUser WITH EmailToUser.ToAddress=BO.adminemailaddress
SEND EmailToUser

When you use SEND TO syntax you don't need to worry about the "to" address - Aware IM will use whatever is in the object.

The "to address" in the notification should only be used when you want to bypass this in which case you need to use SEND without TO
