recreating a timestamp

Hi,

How do I 'recreate' the time part of a timestamp field.

i want the time part to be '00:00:00' so i can update it with the hours and minutes the user entered.

if the user enters

hours : 2
minutes : 35

then the timestamp field should say 2014-10-16T02:35:00

I am testing this now and so far I am stuck at this issue

If I set the hour to a Number attribute with static choices of 00-23,

format is # there is always a decimal and a zero after the number.

e.g. 01 becomes 01.0

added a presentation format of #00, it works but doesn't add the leading zero

e.g. 01 becomes 1

I have the format of my timestamp as a 24-hour clock that is why I need the leading zeroes
