Splitting Tomcat and Aware

Hi... Does anyone have any experience of splitting tomcat away from Aware IM?

Here's my situation:

I have a dedicated server, running virtual machines.
I would like to have tomcat running on on virtual machine and Aware IM running on another.

The reason for this is primarily for security - as we only tomcat to be the only public facing part of the server.

If anyone has done this or can help outline the installation steps / process I would be very grateful...

If you really want to do this you will need to purchase an extra license for the server where you want Tomcat installed, install Aware IM there and then change the file AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/webapp.props located on the "Tomcat" server to point to the machine where the real Aware IM server is running.
