Prefix instance in documents

Hi all,

Im trying to display a document with two different instances of an attribute "ApplicationProduct" in the process ive created ive used THIS and THAT to separate the two. I know for a fact that when the process runs it finds the two seperate instances but when i produce the document using <<ThisApplicationProducts.ABC>>

And

<<ThatApplicationProducts.ABC>>

They produce the same information from one instance but should have different infomation.

Does THIS and THAT work on documents ? or is there a work around ?

I have a similar situation where on an record we have Contract.doc and Confirmation.doc. we have created two attributes of type document and in each one we save the right version of the document. it's simple, but it works fine.

Im trying to display only 1 document but using two instances of the one Business Object by using the THIS and THAT,

Not sure if THIS and THAT will work in this case, but a workaround would be to store the two instances in attributes of LoggedInSystemUser during the calling process, then use the two attributes in the Document.

Thankyou for a work around ! but when producing the document it actually does use one of the instances of the business objects i believe it uses THIS

On the document itself it uses <<THISApplicationProduct.ABC>>
<<THATApplicationProduct.ABC>>

It does populate both fields but uses only one instance

Instance prefixes should work fine in documents if a document indeed uses the context that you expect. If you are sure there is a bug in the latest version please sends us the BSV for testing with the description how to reproduce it.

we are actually running an old version, version 5.3, does this support it ?

Can't say anything about the old version - you need to update.
