I need assistance again. I am working with duration. I have a business object that is Time. It has a start time and end time that is a time stamp. I have an attribute duration set to duration and total to total time of duration. I am linking this to another business object "Create" with a one to one setting I use a shortcut in the "Create" business object. In the short cut I use total from Time. I am trying to keep a running total of the duration against the time set by the client in the form as a running total removing the existing tot time remain from the new total. So if I start with 10 hours it decreases time remaining by the current duration let's say the duration is 2:15 in the current session so you would have 7 hours and 45 minutes remaining. Then the next time the file was worked on it would start at 7:45 remaining and remove the new duration total. Ok I think I explained it pretty well. So we are using a formula we found online and have the total set as dynamic in the advanced tab under the rule.
Here is the rule we are using in the process for the end time to be set with CURRENT_TIMESTAMP.
"(HOURS(SUM time.total WHERE (Time.Create=Create)) + MINUTES(SUM Time.total WHERE (Time.Create=Create))/60)
This did work for a couple of tests but then quit working. I don't understand why but it did. If you could help I would appreciate it. I have done a search for duration and read many posts to see where my issue is but without luck. Thank you.
