Problem with operation startProcessFromForm

I have a business object, ObjectA. On the 'main' form of ObjectA, I have a html cell with the startProcessFromForm operation.

The process that is started (a) displays a pick list of rows from ObjectB, (b) the user selects one from the list, and I was hoping that the ID from the selected ObjectB would update the foreign key ObjectA.ObjectB_ID.

It doesn't work. When I return to the 'main' form from the process, the ObjectA.ObjectB_ID value is not set.

I'm wondering whether it is permissible to start a process from a form, where they both use the same business object?

Sounds like what youre trying should work (I havent used the html command youre using though). Try analyzing the log viewer to see whats happening when you start the process.

What does the process rule look like?
If you using PICK FROM action, have you got a INSERT ThisObjectB IN ObjectA.ObjectB action?
