LIST_TABLE_START - not shown in Visual Perspective panel

Hi active members,

I have this behaviour:

If I use the code bellow inside a visual's perspective panel as "import html page", the results are not shown:

the code:
<table style="width: 100%">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>ColumnHead1</th>
<th>ColumnHead2<</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tr>
<td><<LIST_TABLE_START('QueryName')>><<Object.Attribute1>></td>
<td><<Object.Attribute2>><<LIST_TABLE_END()>></td>
</tr>
</table>

If I use same code in a HTML Document template and I trigger the document with "DISPLAY DOCUMENT htmldocument" everything is ok.

Anyone tried this?

I use HTML documents for invoices & quotes and HTML in the VP banner.

There is no object in context; the only object that work are the ones permanently in context e.g. SystemSettings BO or any LoggegInBO.

2. If I use same code in a HTML Document template and I trigger the document with "DISPLAY DOCUMENT htmldocument" everything is ok.

You have specified which BO to be displayed with DISPLAY DOCUMENT e.g. 'Start Process' operation invoked from your BO Form.

So you are using a Query, not a BO in the VP.
Hmmm, make the Query display results as a Custom Template (HTML) and then select to display the query in the VP as per normal.

I have tried what you say and works 75% (or I'm thinking just 75% 🙂 ) ...

I have created a custom Query with following:

Header html code:
<div>List presents data for: {CURRENT_DATE}</div>

Body html code:
<table style="width: 100%">
<tr>
<td>{Attribute1}</td>
<td>{Attribute2}</td>
</tr>
</table>

Seems that attributes included in {...} put in Header are not displayed. This is a limitation?

My question is how can I achieve to put some column headings to the query , which will include some custom Attributes?

Try this

In the Header:

<div>List presents data for: {CURRENT_DATE}</div> 
<table>
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Column Name 1</th>
<th>Column Name  2</th>
<th>Column Name 3</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody

In the Body:

<tr>
<td>Attribute 2</td>
<td>ttribute 3</td>
<td>ttribute 4</td>
</tr>

In the Footer:

</tbody>
</table>

CURRENT_DATE is not shown ... it's ignored...

Don't put in the query, add two VP panels, the 1st one with the <<CURRENT_DATE>> HTML and the query in the second one.
