Hi All
Scenario: Mutliple BSVs for various clients (say A, B and C, need to draw information from a single external BSV (for the purposes of this example, Stock BSV) based on their location and tags (keywords).
So, for example, if A creates an Order instance to place an order and selects "Pens" as the ItemType, a lookup needs to occur which then returns a list of items from Stock BSV that correspond to A's location and the tag "pens".
The supplier needs to maintain one Stock BSV that holds all ItemTypes so that they only need to update one central data set. If the location of B or C doesn't correspond to the location in which they have stock of Pens, then it shouldn't appear when B or C attempts to order Pens.
What would be the best way to structure this? Would you suggest the Stock items are kept in the external BSV and that lookup occurs in real time to the external BSV, or would it be better to have a copy of Stock items imported into A, B and C's BSV's when they are set up as clients, with some function comparing (and updating differences) as changes are made to the Stock BSV?
I would be most interested and grateful for any advice on this.
Thanks
