ID system attribute, unique always?

Hi all,
I need a attribute which is unique for a BO instance. Can I use the system attribute Object.ID for this purpose or are there any problems when doing that? Does Aware IM update that attribute here and there under some circumstances or so?

Yes you can use it as it is unique and won't be ever updated.
For exporting/importing during a data migration I will recommend to use a new ID like : BO.UniqueID as an auto-incremented number. It will be unique as well and if you ever need to move your data it won't interfere with the system ID.
