Problem upgrading to Build 5.8 1814

I tried to upgrade my server Runtime from build 1797 to build 1814. However, ran into a little issue - no data is displayed or returned.

Visual aspect OK, just no data.
Restoring back to 1797 - all is fine.

I updated by building a Runtime exe on my development platform.

Any pointers what has gone wrong? Correct method to update?

I would not update using the runtime, plus, AwareIM's license precludes doing so, assuming the existing installation is not a runtime. I suspect that the installation overwrote the BASServer.props file which I believe is where the database connection information is stored. I know that when I installed a runtime instance, I don't think it asked for the database settings and I had to set them manually. That's what I think.
