Hi Guys

I Was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible and if so can provide some pointers on How to make a Horizontal HTML/CSS drop down menu that resides in the 'Banner' Frame of the visual perspective, drop over the boundry of that Frame an not be limited to the height set in the Banner Frame. For instance... I Have a Horizontal Band that runs accros my App, which is a HTML/CSS Menu. The height of the frame is set to 100px. However, whenever I Add <li> items so as to make drop down menus, the drop down it self slides in beneath the main frame of the visual perspective.

Is there a script or something I Can use to allow the Dropdown to 'Be In Front' of any other frames below it?

Let me know if you Don't understand and I'll Send a screenshot. 🙂

Hi Hein,
I have also experienced this and support/other developers if you know a solution please share. One option I THINK works is importing the menu in the main frame instead of the banner frame. This will not work though if you also intend to use the top bar menu (which was the problem in my case i.e. i could not use this "workaround".

Hi,
Typically this issue is resolved by setting the z-order of the div layer that the menu is situated within to a high number like 99 which should solve your problem.

It would, make sense to me that that shoud work, however I still cannot get it to work. I Set the Z-index of the div class for the menu to 99; !important

The drop down is still hidden beneath the main frame. Either I'm doing it wrong or this approach is not resolving my problem.

Do I have to make an changes to the THEME code itself? I'm using accent.

Hi,
I can't tell without looking at it. My advise would be to view the page in Chrome, right click on your menu and click on Inspect Element. This will let you see the css that is impacting on that area of the page and you can interactively play around with the css to see if you can achieve what you want. Then you can apply those changes to the relevant css sheet.
