AwareIM 5.9 feature:

Ability to create NATIVE MOBILE APPLICATIONS from your browser-driven mobile applications.
This is done using a technology called PhoneGap.

You need to have an account with PhoneGap in order to use this feature (it's free).
Aware IM prepares a zip file with your application that you can upload to PhoneGap to create binary file(s) that can be downloaded to the mobile device.

This feature is available in the Tools menu in the Configuration Tool.

Excellent!

Cheers

Hi Rennur,

I can't see the Phonegap feature on my copy??? I am using the BETA as well.

My Tools Menu looks exactly the same as the production one 5.8

am i missing something?

Rennur

It will probably be released with the full version.

I want to test 5.9...From where can I download beta version?
And can someone tell what features are new and should be tested?

Thank you

Yeah, sounds very interesting 🙂. I would also love more details about 5.9 and also about the BETA program. Thanks

Sorry, 5.9 beta testers. A couple of menu items have been left out from the last 5.9 build. This includes the PhoneGap build and the ability to add Gantt charts.

The PhoneGap feature to build native mobile apps IS in the beta.

We'll update the beta soon and let you know.

If you want to take part in 5.9 beta testing please send email to support@awareim.com

Please re-download and re-install the beta. The two problems have been fixed.
