Is there a way to slow a transaction?

I have a process that executes a stored procedure (via EXEC_SP). It runs to update some data in the RegularUser BO and then the process displays a visual perspective.

The data that is updated in the RegularUser BO are used to determine whether a user can see a particular tab or not (defined in the visual perspective).

The issue is the visual perpective sometimes shows the tabs and sometimes not. It appears that the visual perspective is displaying before the updates to the database are completed.

Is there a way to sequence steps in a process to avoid this?

Instead of showing a conditional tab you could place a process on your form. That process could launch in a new window or pop-up the information you want to show, based on your condition.

I found another viable (albeit unfortunate) workaround.
