Hi,

I am using PDFCreator to generate my PDF's from a word document.

I tried testing it from the command prompt by using the following

'C:\Program Files (x86)\PDFCreator\PDFCreator.exe /PFC:\temp\my_pdf\myform6.docx'

and it works,

however, when I try using it from inside AwareIM (via Processes), its coming up with an error saying the path cannot be found.

Is this the right way to do a command line in AwareIM?

EXECUTE PROGRAM EXECUTE PROGRAM 'C:/Program Files (x86)/PDFCreator/PDFCreator.exe /PFC:/temp/icc_pdf/myform6.docx'

The issue I think is that the PDFCreator user manual said that there has to be NO SPACES between the flag /PF<Path+Filename>

Can you use the backslash [/b] for the folder path or the forward slash is a requirement?

Hi Rennur,

I thought the '/' is the requirement of Java??

I will test it with the '\' and see how it goes

replacing the '/' with the '\' on the filename component did the trick! 🙂

Now another issue has popped up (sigh!), after generating the PDF, I want to save that PDF into a BO attribute which is of type document.

I have myBO.Document (Type Document), calculated.

My whole process is

EXPORT DOCUMENT myForm TO 'c:\temp\my_pdf\myform6.docx'
EXECUTE PROGRAM 'C:/Program Files (x86)/PDFCreator/PDFCreator.exe /PFC:\temp\imy_pdf\myform6.docx'
IMPORT DOCUMENT myBo.Document FROM 'C:/temp/my_pdf/myform6.pdf'

Everytime I click SAVE, AwareIM is coming up with a message 'possible wrong identifier'?? I made sure that it is going to a Document type attribute.

Are we not able to Import PDF into a document type????
