Customization, custom data template?

Hi all,
Using the custom data template (to display 1 record) and would love to use a specific custom font for the data, has anyone done this and/or know how to configure this?

Another related thing, I´m trying to set the background color of the custom data template but can only partially set it (only where the text of the record is displayed, there are grey areas above and below the text area). Same here, has anyone done this and/or know how to configure this?

Managed to figure this out, it´s possible to set the font properties (family, size) in the custom data template "style" property. Related question, If I set a font-family in the custom data template, does that mean ALL users/computers can see that font because I have it on my server OR does it mean they have to have the font to be able to see it?
