renaming a document and parameter passing

Hi,

I have 2 questions

1) I have an MS-WORD document that I print to and used DISPLAY DOCUMENT mydocument.doc. Is there a way to rename this file as when using Chrome, the document just gets downloaded to the client PC.

2) I have a html link that the user clicks after entering the parent object details. The link will open up the child object.

Using AwareApp.startProcessFromForm('myprocess','new_tab',this,true), is it safe to assume that 'this' refers to the last saved parent object? The child object gets save but there is no link to the parent.

If anyone can point me in the right direction please

For renaming, use the Export Document command. You can set the name. However, this must export to a document onto the server somewhere. After than, you can call the file from a URL. There are a few loops to jump through in terms of where the document is stored but this is all very straight forward. If you want to go down that path and needs some help, let me know.
