Fusioncharts and 5.8

Hi everyone,

Since upgrading to 5.8, I’ve been having problems with external components such as

fusioncharts
flexmonster

which require xml files to be rendered behind the scenes.

Has anyone else had issues with this or could suggest some fixes?

Please keep us posted if you find the cause. I was thinking about using Fusioncharts later on and would be good to know if it doesn´t work. The flexmonster charts look interesting as well, have you successfully used them in the past?

Hi,

Yes, I was using flexmonster and fusioncharts with 5.7 for an app that I built quite successfully.

Works really well and now with html5 support it should be even better.

Support suggested that I disable XML extention handling from the tomcat side of awareim, side effect of this is that it breaks REST. I haven't had much success late on Friday afternoon, but will try again Monday.

I suspect that its also the way AwareIM extensions work that cause issues with fusioncharts.
