Scheduler - displaying objects without resources

I have BO:
Appointment
Personel

I want to display all Appointments with and without Personel on Scheduler.
By default, scheduler shows only records that have their resources.
So if scheduler is defined to show Appointments, with
"reference attribute to show resources: Personel" it will display only Appointments with Personel attached.

Maybe some of you, dear Users, have any idea how to resolve this situation?

Or maybe this is a good reason to add another checkbox in Scheduler configuration?
What do you think Support?
Does this function looks logically to you (if yes, I will send you request for quotation).

You could add a dummy reference instead of leaving it undefined when personnel aren't added. Give the dummy personnel reference a name something like 'general Meetings'. If they add personnel then you remove the dummy reference.

I'm sure others have ways to do it as well but this is one way.

Thank you RocketRod, I forgot to mention that we already came up on that one.

I would like to find different way, because we have rules based on Appointment without Personnel.
Adding condition like IF Appointment.Personnel.Name = 'general Meeting'
doesn't look elegant.
