Default Time in Day View

Hi,

Totally new to awareim and wanting to know if there is a way so that when the user clicks on the calendar, the Start Time is defaulted to the current system time?

Also, I made changes to the Start Time / End Time attributes so that it only displays the Time but the Date portion of the field is being set as 1970-01-01.

I thought that when you click on a particular date, that the default date of the Start Time / End Time attribute is <current_date> 00:00 time.

If you are creating an appointment object you can define rules that initialise StartTime to the CURRENT_TIMESTAMP.

If you only define time for your values then the date portion is set to some default value. If this default value is important to you then use rules to set it.

Hi,

Can you seperate the starttime attribute? as in have a date and time field both on the screen?

I added a rule but when you modify the time, it defaults back to the SQL defaults of 1970-01-01.

You can display both on the screen - check out presentation options of the timestamp.
