ZoHo UDD

RocketRod

Support can you please confirm that although you can set up a UDD to use the new Zoho editor and users can change the UDD Excel or Word document, you still need Word or Excel installed on the server in order to use it?

If so, wish list please to use Zoho to do the merge.

Yes, you need Word installed on the server. Zoho CANNOT be used to resolve data inside the document. This applies to UDD and system document templates.

So to do the merge can anyone tell me if the version of Office you install has to be compatible with the version of the file that the user has uploaded? In other words do I always have to have the server of the latest version or does it not matter?

Most probably it doesn't matter.
