INTERNET EXPLORER 11 fail

Hello! I have been using AwareIM and works fine with all the apps that I use, but this time, the user has to use Interter Explorer 11. Yes, I know, I would only recomend to use Internet Explorer if I was to play them a practical joke. But this time is the way it is.

So Im run internet Explorer 11 and type the address (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:8080/AwareIM/logonOp.aw?domain=Application) , but nothing. I start like it going to run, but nothing.

Any suggestions on how to configure Internet Explorer and run a AwareIM application?

Hi Carlos,
IE11 works when i try it. I have tested my application + some of the sample applications (with URL parameters) and it works as it should.

Weird, it works in another computer with IE 10.

I dont know if it is IE security issues.

I will keep trying.

Have you tried putting awareIM in trusted site zone

There was a syntax error in Aware IM Javascript file reproduced yesterday by one customer. Most versions of IE and all versions of other browsers do not consider this a problem at all, but some old IE versions think it's a syntax error. We will fix in the next build.

IE 9,10,11 should all be fine UNLESS you are working in the IE Compatibility mode. So double check this. If you are not working in the compatibility mode then this is something else - maybe security issue.

Can you tell me in which build this was fixed? I expience problems on IE with build 1814.

This was fixed in 1805, so 1814 should be fine.

Turn on Javascript errors in the options of the browser and check if you have any messages.

Problem was on line 35766 of "/aware_ext/aware_full.js" (rename "aware_full.js" to "aware.js" to debug).

You can fix it by removing the last comma on line 35765 (after the setEditable function).
